Tourism Events Funding Programme 2012/13 has NOW CLOSED for applications

Supporting International and National Tourism Events taking place in Northern Ireland between 1 April 2012 – 31 March 2013, this programme will help deliver the objectives of the Draft Tourism Strategy for Northern Ireland to 2020. There are two funds which are administered concurrently; NITB National Tourism Events Fund and NITB International Tourism Events Fund.

The Tourism Events Funding Programme 2012/13 has offered funding to 51 events. This information is filterable by Town, County, District Council Area and Constituency for your convenience.

NITB & Events

NITB administers the Tourism Events Funding Programme providing financial support for eligible events across Northern Ireland. In 2011/12, the programme provided funding for 50 events through the NITB 2011/12 Events Funding Programme.

NITB also supports the NI events industry through non-financial channels, developing programmes to encourage event improvement and growth, providing in-kind marketing support developing and implementing The Northern Ireland Events Plan and leading the Northern Ireland events industry by encouraging best practice and positive growth.
